3-8 CAMPUS

  • 7:00-7:50am – Extended Day Drop Off
    8:00-8:30am – Regular Drop Off
    8:30-8:40am – Late Drop-Off

    Every morning from 8:00 am to 8:30am GLOBAL staff will be outside greeting and welcoming your child to the school. GLOBAL makes every effort is made to ensure our students’ safe arrival and dismissal to and from school. Please follow the following procedures very carefully.

    1. Do not let your children out of your car in the middle of the parking lot. We have staff on site to let your children out of the car once you pull up to the main entrance. If you choose not to wait in line, please park your car and walk your students across the crosswalk and to the school entrance.

    2. Make sure to pull up all of the way to the indicated signs. This ensures several cars being able to drop off at the same time.

    3. Students may enter the building starting at 8:0 am (extended day not included). If a child enters campus early there is a $5 early drop off fee, for each occurrence. Parents will be encouraged to enroll in Before School Care.

    4. If arriving after 8:40am, the school administration requires all parents arriving to park their cars and walk their children to the main office.

    GLOBAL cares about the safety of every single student in our school. We kindly ask you to follow the above instructions to make sure that the drop off process is quick and safe for our students. In case the instructions are not followed, the parent might receive a warning and will be required to park the car and walk students to school.

  • 3:25pm – HS Sibling arrive
    3:30pm – Walkers+Van Riders are dismissed
    3:35pm – Car Dismissal Begins
    3:40pm – K-2 Siblings arrive
    4:15pm – Late Pick Up is called
    4:30pm – Main Lobby closes, please park and walk inside to sign out your child, late fees apply

    All GLOBAL Campuses use a dismissal program called PikMyKid. With this program, each student receives their own individual dismissal number. Dismissal numbers are given per student, not per family. Whenever the dismissal number is put into the PikMyKid system, the student name pops up in the teacher's classroom signaling the student to be dismissed. All you have to do:

    1. Enter through East Gate of Grizzly Campus

    2. Get in the dismissal line, 2 lines are queued.

    3. Give dispatcher the number(s)

    4. Pull up to student pick up area.

    5. Wait until student comes to the vehicle

    If you would like a family member or friend to pick up your student, simply inform them of the student's dismissal number which they will present to the dispatcher.

    Only enter in the highlighted area during dismissal. Not following parking lot instructions for dismissal is considered a violation to our safety procedure. 

    If you have not received your child’s dismissal number yet you can do so by emailing info@gocacademy.com and including your full name, your child’s full name, and their grade.

Tardy Policy

  • Tardiness is defined as the physical absence of a student in the classroom at the beginning of a regularly scheduled session at which he or she is scheduled to be present. 

    All students arriving after 8:30 am must be accompanied by parents inside, be signed in on the tardy log, and get a tardy pass in order to enter the classroom.

  • The first three (3) tardy occurrences are documented in the electronic tardy tracking system and serve as a written warning. Consequences begin on the 4th recorded tardy: 

    (4th, 5th, 6th tardy) Phone call home and note sent home

    (7th, 8th, 9th tardy) Lunch detention (30-minutes)

    10 occurrences of tardy to school – Documented meeting with the parent, principal, and dean of students. Possible referral to full service schools. 

    Any other tardies after the 13th occurrence will be reported to a truancy officer. 

  • Examples of acceptable reasons for tardiness are the same as the examples for acceptable reasons for excused absences, such as doctor’s appointment (a note must be provided). 

Late Pick Up Policy

Students not picked up on time after regular school hours or any after school activity will be placed in the Extended Day Program after 15 min post official end of the program and be charged according to the Late Fee Schedule below:

    • 15-30min…………………………………....$5

  • After 6 pm if GLOBAL is unable to reach the parent or any other emergency contacts JSO will be contacted and student will be picked up at JSO Substation.

  • If any part of the fee is not paid in full, the student will not be able to go on any of the scheduled field trips. Please make sure that all late pick up fees are paid on the day they are applied.
