Need a little more time before reuniting with those munchkins? Don’t you worry, extended day is here!
The Extended Day Program is a fee-based child care program designed to help working parents. We are honored to serve your child at Global Outreach Charter Academy. We also understand the complexity of some parents’ work schedules and the importance of maintaining that schedule. Our Extended Day department will do the best we can to make sure you have an easy and stress-free experience.
“AM Program”
7:00 – 8:00 a.m.
The “AM Program” is designed to facilitate working parents with an earlier drop off time. The morning session consists of informal, non-instructional activities in order to smooth student’s entry into the structured school day.
SIGNING IN
Extended day arrival begins @7:00am.
Please park and walk your child inside to sign them in.
If you are dropping off your child after 7:50am please join the regular drop off line.
DO NOT park directly in front of the main lobby in the driveway.
DAY-TO-DAY EXTENDED DAY:

When registering, select Day-to-Day Extended Day, and choose the number of prepaid days in the add-ons section.
Parents MUST enroll their child into Extended Day monthly.
Parents MUST prepay and MUST always keep a positive balance.
We understand some parents may have different work schedules and do not need Extended Day every day of the month. Parents who are only interested in a daily payment schedule must first enroll in the program monthly by filling out an application. Then they must submit an initial payment online.
“PM Program”
3:30-5:45 p.m.
The “PM Program” provides a more formal, structured program of academic enrichment and activities such as art appreciation, games, crafts, and a wide range of physical activities and sports.
SIGNING OUT
Extended day dismissal only starts @4:30pm after the main school dismissal is over.
Please park and come inside to SIGN OUT your child
If you would like to pick your child up earlier than 4:30pm please join the regular dismissal line.
DO NOT park directly in front of the main lobby in the driveway.
Late Pick Up From Extended Day
Extended Day ends at 5:45 pm. Any student picked up after 6:00 p.m. will be charged a $1 per minute late fee. These fees apply to each individual child and are not based on a family rate.
After 6:30pm if the parent is not reached, JSO will be contacted.
PAYMENTS
All payments must be made AT THE TIME OF monthly registration at the beginning of the month. Your child will not be able to attend the program unless they are registered and paid for. Please understand that by not paying, you are forfeiting your child’s spot in the Extended Day Program.
Monthly Extended Day is charged based on the child’s enrollment, not attendance.
No refunds are issued for a missed day of school.
