We want to take all the confusion out of parent codes. So, we’re happy to help you better understand them and how they work.
What is a parent code? How do I use it?
Parent codes are unique to each child and allow a parent to connect with their child’s teacher on ClassDojo. Parent codes are between 7 to 9 characters long and start with the letter “P.”
Parent codes can only be obtained from your child’s teacher, so if you haven’t received a parent code, please reach out directly to the teacher to obtain yours!
Once you have your unique parent code, you can create your account on our Android App by following the instructions in
Create an Account with a Parent Code:
-Download the ClassDojo app from the Google Play store
-Click “I’m a parent”
You can also add a new parent code to an existing parent account by following
To add another parent code:
-Tap on your child’s monster on the bottom right corner of the screen
-Tap the blue “+ Add code” button
By connecting with your child’s teacher on ClassDojo, you can view how your child is doing in class and privately communicate with his or her teacher using the messaging section of your ClassDojo account.
Want to connect two or more parents/caregivers?
Parent codes are reusable, so it can be used by as few as one parent or guardian or by as many parents/guardians as you or the teacher would like! This is great for parents who are separated, divorced, or those who have multiple family members or caregivers who all want access.
All of the parent accounts linked to a code are separate and private. All connected parents can view their student’s points as well as any posts that are made to the Class Story or Portfolios. However, any messages exchanged between each account holder and the teacher are private

-Toque el botón azul “+ Añadir código”
Si no recuerda el código de su niño usted puede enviar una solicitud al maestro siguiendo estos pasos:
– Toque en agregar niño
– Agregar niño con un código
– Presione donde indica encontrar maestra(o)
– Coloque el nombre de la escuela
– Escoge el nombre de su maestro(o)
– Por ultimo entre el nombre complete de su niño
